Infosec IQ provides a pre-built campaign template allowing you to quickly launch your baseline blind PhishSim campaign. The purpose of a baseline campaign is to measure your organization’s vulnerability to real phishing attacks. It is recommended to conduct this campaign quickly in order to reduce chatter within your organization. Additionally, there is no Education associated with a blind campaign so learners will not be informed of the simulation.
Note: Some employees may be responsive to phishing attacks and alert your IT or security team. We recommend notifying teams who field tickets internally of the simulated phishing campaign.
Start a baseline PhishSim campaign
- In the IQ admin portal navigate to to PhishSim > PhishSim campaigns.
- Click Baseline Blind.
- Update the name of the campaign if needed.
- Content: A baseline blind campaign will use the “Baseline - Blind” battery. Three templates will be sent by default, and this number can be reduced if needed.
- Learners: “All Learners” will be selected by default, which is recommended to accurately measure how your entire organization responds to phishing.
- Schedule: Select the start date and length of the campaign. The baseline blind will run for 14 days by default. This can be adjusted if needed, but we recommend running the baseline blind campaign for at least one week.
- Advanced Settings: You may wish to add phished learners into a group, but with a blind campaign you probably won’t use any of the other advanced settings. For more information see PhishSim Campaigns.
- Click Save & schedule.
